🎭 Next week, three actors will take to the road for Fèisean nan Gàidheal’s annual Gaelic pantomime tour with Luchlann agus am Bonn Òir (Luchlann and the Gold Medal), a sparkling new adventure loosely based on the story of Dick Whittington. The show will visit Ullapool, Plockton and Lochcarron primary schools in Wester Ross and there is a public performance in Inverness on December 4. More: Fèisean nan Gàidheal

🎄Christmas trees can be expensive. So here's a good idea from the Laide and Aultbea Community Woodland. If you pitch in a bit of time to help them remove non-native lodgepole pines from the woodland on December 6, you can take one home to use as your Christmas tree for free. More in the flyer below.

🐾 The Wester Ross Biosphere are holding their AGM on December 9 at 19:00. It's an online only affair. Existing members are encouraged to check their email for details. 💰 In a social media video, Local MP Angus MacDonald has welcomed the cut in electricity bills that was announced in Rachel Reeves' budget. He has campaigned on the issue since he got elected in the last General Election. 💊 According to the latest minutes from Aultbea Community Council, Gairloch Pharmacy is conducting a review to determine if the Aultbea prescription delivery service is still fit for purpose, including potential alternative arrangements. No changes will happen before the New Year and notice of any change will be given.

🚦Garve Community Council have revealed that there has been yet more delay to the road repairs at "Check Rail Corner" on the A835. This means temporary traffic lights will have been operating at the site for more than two years. More: Garve Community Council

🐑 And finally, Karen Buchanan, Curator at the Arctic Convoy Museum, has been modelling new patterns for a hat and cowl that have been produced specially for the museum by Kate Davies Designs. The pattern will be available for sale in the museum shop, and proceeds will go to the museum. Karen has also written an interesting short history on the museum for the designer's website.
