The Gairloch Times has a new website
The Gairloch Times has a new website and we want to know what you think.
The Gairloch Times has a new website, a new web address and we're asking all our readers to answer six quick questions about the paper so we can serve you better in the future.
Our new home on the web offers a new, clean design that makes it easier to read our stories. We've also made it easier for you to send us stories, event info, and photos for us to publish.
If you are a free subscriber expect to get a new "Wester Ross Round-up" newsletter from us summarising all the need-to-know news for the area.
If you are a paying supporter expect extra exclusive content that will sometimes get published first online - before it appears in the paper.
Here's what you need to know:
- The address has changed. We've moved from gairlochtimes.co.uk to gairlochtimes.org.uk
- It doesn't matter if you type the old address - you'll be automatically redirected to the new website. However, it's probably better if you update your bookmarks.
- If you are one of our existing digital subscribers we've automatically set you up on our new website with a subscription that is the same length - and sometimes a wee bit longer - than your existing membership.
- Paying members get exclusive access to add comments to stories, and read content behind the paywall. Tapping the "sign in" link in the top right of the website will generate an email with a login link in it. No password needed!
- If you had an account on our old website, but your subscription had lapsed we've added you to our free membership tier. Expect to get occassional Wester Ross Round-up emails from us. If you don't want these emails - you can unsubscribe at any time by hitting the unsubscribe button in the footer of any email we send you.
Lastly, we really want to understand more about what you think about The Gairloch Times. We've put a short survey together which is anonymous - so you can be brutally honest. All feedback is good feedback, so don't hold back 😏.

If you prefer to read and buy a print copy of the paper - don't worry we have no plans to stop printing.
And one other thing. The Gairloch Times has been publishing vital community news continuously since 1978. The best way to help us keep going is to invest in an annual digital membership. It only costs £24 for an annual membership at the moment - that's a whopping 60% off the monthly subscription price. If you don't want to take out a digital membership you can always donate instead.
